Set amongst the rolling hills of our 600-acre family farm in Hindmarsh Valley, Softfoot is home to a wonderful collection of Australian wildlife, including alpacas, kangaroos, emus, koalas and other native animals.
Whether you're visiting with the family, exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula or simply looking for something a little different to do, our Wildlife Park offers a relaxed and memorable way to get closer to Australian wildlife.

Wander through the Softfoot Wildlife Park and take your time discovering some of Australia's much-loved native animals.

More Than a Wildlife Park
There is a bigger story behind Softfoot. Our family has been restoring and revegetating the property since the 1990’s. More than 60,000 trees have been planted, transforming land that was once heavily grazed and largely cleared into a diverse environment providing habitat for birds, insects and native animals.
Softfoot is also home to four purpose-built sanctuaries supporting breeding and conservation programs for endangered Australian marsupials, including species such as southern brown bandicoots, woylies, potoroos and brush-tailed bettongs.
When you visit Softfoot, you're not just seeing wildlife —you are experiencing a property where conservation is part of everyday life.
