All guests staying in our retreats receive free entry to our onsite wildlife park.

All 3 of our retreats Ironbark, Billabong and Coolibah are identical in layout and facilities, the only thing that changes is the view and décor.

Prices for 1-2 people are as follows

Weeknight Sunday - Thursday $260.00 per night plus $95.00 cleaning fee

Weekend Friday or Saturday Night $350.00 per night plus $95.00 cleaning fee

For bookings of more than 2 people it is an additional $55.00 per person up to 7 people.

Fully self-contained

Each of our retreats is set up so that you can relax into the bush setting with minimal traveling.


Enjoy the scenic views while cooking on our the large BBQ on the deck. Each retreat also has a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle as well as all the cutlery crockery required to prepare meals during your stay.

Perfect for Couples

Each retreat looks out over a bush setting with plenty of space in-between to create a secluded and romantic getaway for you and your partner.

Relax in the bath on the deck or take a romantic stroll down to our Golden Heart Wetlands.

Great for Families

With free walking trails and tickets to our onsite wildlife park there’s plenty of activities to occupy children while staying with us. Or book in for one of our exciting alpaca and wildlife tours to make it an unforgettable experience. Tours available Wednesday to Sunday. $75 Adults $45 Children.

With the fold out sofa-bed and second bedroom our retreats can sleep up to 5 children in a single stay.

15 Minute Drive to Victor Harbor

While staying with us you are just a short drive down to Victor Harbor where there are lots of activities, great beaches and restaurants to enjoy. Or there are plenty of supermarkets and takeaways to purchase food to bring back and dine at your retreat.

Dine on Site

Staying with us you have a great opportunity to dine at our onsite, award winning restaurant The Swagman Country Dining. Open for lunch Thursday to Sunday.

A slow-food experience. Swagman creates nutritious food with contemporary flavours for your health and enjoyment. A variety of bush foods are sourced from the farm’s native gardens. Bookings essential.

Comfortable All Year Round

With efficient reverse cycle heating and cooling our retreats are a great place to stay at any time of the year. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the deck in the summer or be cozy inside while watching the rain in winter.
